Cristiano Ronaldo makes major decision that could hugely affect Harry Kane’s Tottenham future

Will Cristiano Ronaldo Join Tottenham Hotspurs?

On the first starting line-up of Juventus F.C. against Udinese in the 2021-22 Serie A season, Massimiliano Allegri did not count on Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo was clear that his instincts wanted him to seek a new adventure elsewhere. The football club managed a draw of 2-2 against their opponent team, Udinese.

There have been allegations that link Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut from Turin in the last few weeks. The Portuguese star has only 12 months of contract with Juventus Football Club. Juventus offered an agreement transfer fee of £25 million short of his whopping wages demands.

If any club is interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo, it must qualify or fulfill his massive earnings. As per Sport Italia’s Michelle Criscitiello, Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Juventus is over after playing two seasons. Many clubs are mentioned as possible shock contenders for Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature.

Cristiano Ronaldo Possible Transfer to Tottenham Hotspurs

The 36 years old star needs a firm decision on his future as he allegedly wants to depart Juventus during the blockbuster transfer twist. Tottenham Hotspurs is among the first contenders who would like to sign him.

Tottenham hasn’t yet ruled out the transfer inquiry of PSV’s player Noni Madueke after a shock move by Juventus to transfer Cristiano Ronaldo in the final few days of the summer transfer window. Juventus is reportedly not ready to offer him an extensive stay at Allianz Stadium, leaving his future uncertain at the club this summer.

There is an open chance for one of the greatest footballers to join Tottenham during this summer transfer window. However, Tottenham not participating in the Champions League raises questions about whether Cristiano Ronaldo will sign up for the club. Tottenham Hotspur F.C. failed to reach the top four last season in the Premier League and secured the 6th position qualifying to participate in the Europa Conference League.

Tottenham Hotspurs F.C. Shows Light After Winning Against Wolverhampton Without Harry Kane

Cristiano Ronaldo might move to North London considering Spur’s current situation. The club lost against Pacos de Ferreira earlier last week. However, they showed some light in their first premier league debut with a 1-0 win against Manchester City. The club also emerged victorious at Molineux against their rival, Wolverhampton, with a 1-0 last Sunday.

Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham has been cleared up. The 28 year old English football player’s interest in joining Manchester City will be decided nine days before the summer transfer deadline. Even though Harry Kane debuted from Tottenham to Manchester City, the club is uncertain about using all that cash only on signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.

Potential Destinations of Cristiano Ronaldo Apart from Tottenham Hotspur

The CR7 transfer saga has attracted many shock contenders to sign him. The Portugal star has scored 100 goals in 131 appearances for Juventus Football Club. Cristiano Ronaldo became the best player at Allianz Stadium to achieve such within less than three seasons. Here are some of the clubs Cristiano Ronaldo played for before joining Juventus on a four-year contract for a fee of around £105m, which has probably been cut short:

  • From 2002 – 2003: Primeira League at Sporting CP, he scored 25 goals.
  • From 2003 – 2009: Premier League at Manchester United, he scored 292 goals.
  • From 2009 – 2018: La Liga at Real Madrid, he managed to score 438 goals.
  • From 2018 – 2020; Currently in Serie A at Juventus Club, he has scored 100 goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo asks Juventus to sell him before the transfer window deadline as he wants to seek a new start in another club aside from Juventus. Major potential destination clubs such as Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspurs are more than willing to sign the 36 years old.

However, there are suggestions that he could probably set to return to Real Madrid, as seen on a statement on his Instagram page. However, Carlo Ancelotti seems to turn down the return of Ronaldo back to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Cristiano Ronaldo will be leaving Turin soon if any team offers an intriguing prize. However, Juventus has not received any official bids yet. He still stands not only as a Juventus superstar but also as Serie A overall best football player.
