Cristiano Ronaldo: Former Man United Forward Receives’ Best Offer’ From Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr Club

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now a free agent, has yet to finalize his move to Al-Nassr. The Saudi Arabian team has presented the 37-year-old star with their best offer. The most likely destination for Ronaldo would be a Saudi Arabian team. The country is eager to have him serve as an ambassador for the sport there.

The lack of interest in Cristiano Ronaldo shows that he is far from his spectacular best. After scoring 24 goals in 39 outings across all competitions for United in 2021-22, he struggled to find the back of the net this campaign.

Ronaldo will team up with Rudi Garcia, a former AS Roma and Lyon manager if the deal is done. Reports to the contrary, Ronaldo, and Al-Nassr have yet to reach an agreement for him to join the club. The Saudi club has allegedly made the highest offer to the player, but he has yet to make a decision.

Cristiano Ronaldo Is a Free Agent After Leaving Manchester United

The Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has made a massive offer to sign former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo after the World Cup. Several clubs are reportedly interested in signing him. However, Al-Nassr’s reported annual salary of 200 million euros is the highest. He still had over seven months left on his £500,000 per week contract with Manchester United.

The 37-year-old Ronaldo is currently a free agent after having his contract with Manchester United terminated last month due to a controversial interview with Piers Morgan. Ronaldo was under contract with Manchester United when the previous transfer window ended. Therefore, he will be able to join a new club on 1st January even though he is a free agent.

While speaking with TalkTV, he revealed that he had rejected a £305 million offer from a Saudi Arabian club earlier in the summer. The transfer could have made him the world’s highest-paid soccer player. He also criticized the team and said he had no respect for manager Erik ten Hag.

Furthermore, he must serve a two-game domestic ban with whatever new club he joins. That’s whether it be in England or anywhere in the world, for knocking a phone out of the hand of an Everton supporter last season.

A decision on Ronaldo’s future is expected to wait until after Portugal’s World Cup campaign. Ronaldo agreed to a “mutual” dismissal of his contract and left Man United without compensation. While he is still in Qatar, Ronaldo requested that his agents be excluded from discussions regarding his future in professional football.

The Portugal star is expected to play a key role in getting through the round of 16 in the 2022 World Cup against Switzerland on Tuesday. The former Juventus talisman scored a penalty in the team’s 3-2 win over Ghana in the group stage, making history as the only player to score in five different World Cups.

The Portugal Coach Criticizes and Did Not Like Cristiano Ronaldo’s Response to His Substitution

Fernando Santos was dissatisfied with Cristiano Ronaldo’s response to being substituted after Portugal’s loss to South Korea. Ronaldo’s expression when he was taken off during the 65th minute of the 2 – 1 loss showed his obvious disappointment. The 37-year-old player appeared on camera complaining that his coach was hurrying to take him off the field.

As he exited the pitch, Ronaldo engaged in a heated argument with the South Korean player Cho Gue-Sung. Only after the game did Santos realize how Cristiano Ronaldo responded to his substitution. Santos declined to clarify whether Ronaldo will be included in the lineup for the round 16 match against Switzerland at Lusail Stadium, which might be Ronaldo’s last World Cup game.

Netherlands forward Cody Gakpo to Decide on His Future After World Cup

Cody Gakpo stated that he would decide his future after the World Cup. Manchester United reportedly showed interest in the Dutch striker to the tune of £50 million as a suitable replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. He claimed to make plans for his next move after the World Cup.

Another thing working in his favor is that the other players don’t talk about stuff like that. The squad’s primary objective at the World Cup is to win the tournament. They believe that, and we’ll fight and improve daily.
